The City of Santa Rosa is requesting proposals for the preparation of plans, specifications and estimates (PS&E) for the Siphon Rehabilitation – Various Locations 2024 project. The 2020 Sanitary Sewer Master Plan Update performed by Woodard and Curran identified 13 sewer siphons that are in need of priority rehabilitation either via Cured in Place Pipe (CIPP) lining or open trench replacement. In addition to the CIPP rehabilitation, grit chambers will be installed in the upstream end of all siphons to facilitate cleaning and minimize clogging. Full replacement of all upstream manholes specified and made to order by Armorock will be required to install the grit chambers. Rehabilitation of all downstream manholes using an epoxy coating will be performed. 11 of the total 13 siphons are to be lined with CIPP. At locations in streets there will be roadway patch paving required. The remaining two siphons are to be fully replaced and topographic maps will be provided.
