The Material Recovery Facility (MRF) and Transfer Station at 111 S Del Norte requires a qualified firm to perform engineering design services for the removal and installation of 70-foot vehicle weighing scales at its main processing facility. The City previously purchased five (5) new scale units from Mettler Toledo. Two of these new units have already been installed by others–of these two, one is in its proper position and only needs new software to finish its commissioning, and the other was improperly placed and needs to be relocated a short distance forward, unmanned kiosk placed, and new software installed. The remaining three new scales need to be installed, replacing existing in-place, deteriorated units. Additionally, the Paradigm Software WeighStation program license needs to be installed on the control kiosks and coordinated with City systems to make the scales operational.
