The County of Sonoma is pleased to invite you to respond to a RFP for Employment Training. The purpose of this RFP is to procure service provider(s) to administer two Employment Services programs: Job Readiness, including Job Search and Community Service, and the Learning Enhancement & Achievement Program (LEAP) to participants in SonomaWORKS, which provides employment assistance, training, and benefits to families receiving cash aid. SonomaWORKS provides an individualized goal-oriented and whole family approach to service delivery. The programs in this request are intended to help participants increase skills, reduce barriers, secure and retain employment, and aid in the ability for the family to receive supportive services and resources. Effective January 1, 2024, the living wage rate required under the LWO shall be $18.10 per hour. The adjustment was adopted by the County’s Board of Supervisors on December 12, 2023, in accordance with Sonoma Municipal Code section 2-377(d).
