Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Contractor shall be responsible for installing Security Countermeasures based on the 100% PE design drawings, including VSS, ACS, fencing/gates/barriers/bollards, lighting, and wayfinding signage at Emeryville Station.. The required tasks are necessary to implement and deliver the installation services and follow-on warranty services, defined herein, upon completion of all transition activities and ongoing through the end of the contract period. The Contractor shall perform the following tasks: Travel as required to perform research, interview facility personnel, etc. Provide the necessary specifications and obtain approval from the Amtrak Construction/Project Manager before work can begin. Verify and report work conditions of the site(s) prior to commencement of the work. Submit a Site-Specific Safety Work Plan (SSSWP) for approval. Participate and successfully complete Amtrak’s Railroad Worker Safety Course (online course at http://amtrakContractor.com). Contractor Safety badges must be worn at all times while on Amtrak-owned or leased property. Perform project management functions, including, but not limited to, conducting bi-weekly meetings with stakeholders, maintaining bi-weekly schedules, and producing submittals, progress reports, and work plans (if deemed necessary by AMTRAK.) Procure and provide for all equipment and materials delivery, storage, and handling.
