The City of Salinas is requesting statements of qualifications (SOQs) from qualified contractors to establish an on-call list of pre-qualified contractors for each specialty area to assist City of Salinas in maintaining its facility assets, as these facilities represent considerable public investment. The city will issue facility related work through work orders. To the extent feasible, work orders will be distributed on a fair basis, bearing in mind the goal of meeting the needs of the City and rewarding good performance. Staff may apply criteria such as, but not limited to, timely and accurate performance of Work Order processes, quality construction, timely completion of Work Orders and close-out, safety record, meeting work order goals and objectives, project-specific requirements, and local employment participation.
