This RFP is for the supply of forty (40) zero-emission battery-electric terminal tractors. For the purpose of this RFP and in alignment with CCP, zero-emission equipment is defined as equipment, which: produces zero tailpipe emissions of any criteria pollutant, air toxics, or greenhouse gas other than water vapor; has an onboard powertrain and is self-propelled by the powertrain; intended to be propelled while performing its function; or portable or transportable, meaning designed to be and capable of being carried or moved from one location to another (e.g., has wheels, skids, carrying handles, dolly, trailer or platform) and is moved as part of normal operations (i.e., it does not stay in one location for more than 12 consecutive months or the full annual operating period of a seasonal operation); and is limited to battery-electric technologies for which there is an equivalent model with an internal combustion engine available in the marketplace.
