Specifications include, but are not limited to: provide editing and graphic design services to produce the final version of the Science Framework for California Department of Education (CDE). 1. The Contractor will produce the design layout and arrangement of art and copy using consistent type size and style, including consistent design format and style in headings, tables, figures, classroom examples, and other art, including their labels and captions. The design must be full-color. 2. The Contractor will create a design layout for each chapter/section/appendix and submit the design layouts to the CDE Contract Monitor for review by the due dates determined by the CDE in accordance with Exhibit A, Scope of Work, Article V, Timeline. The CDE Contract Monitor will review suggested design layout, clarifying any suggested changes with the Contractor within seven (7) business days. The CDE Contract Monitor accepts/responds to the design layout and sends the CDE responses to the Contractor for preparation of second-round designs or for final submissions.
