Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Sediment removal: Removal of up to 80 cubic yards of sediment from the North Wetland every three (3) years, with disposal by appropriate methods; • Aquatic vegetation management: Installation of wetland vegetation every quarter and periodic removal of undesired vegetation and algae. Removal of floating algae mats weekly. Disposal in waste containers. Removal of floating and submerged aquatic vegetation (water weeds) at least monthly from October through April and biweekly from May through September. Disposal in waste containers. Replacement plants may be transplanted from vegetated areas elsewhere in the lake wetlands with the same depth; • Landscaping (Outside of Lake): Weed abatement and debris removal five (5) times a week or as necessary. Selective cutting and pruning monthly from September through February, or as necessary, vegetation replacement and tree pruning; • Wildlife management: Weekly apple snail egg removal from surfaces and plant stems. The surfaces will be scrubbed after egg mass removal. Eggs will be collected in plastic bags and disposed of in waste containers. Monitoring for non-native species such as red-eared slider turtles, bullfrogs, and koi fish. Potential control measures will be identified if needed, in consultation with a biologist, as part of a Wildlife Management Plan. • Water quality monitoring: Periodic water quality monitoring, monthly probiotic and aquatic dye application, and bi-monthly phosphorus inactivation compounds application during May through September; and • Trash removal: Trash and recycling bin disposal and weekly removal of floating and visible trash and debris.
