Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Contractor shall provide snow removal services to Echo Lake SNO-PARK; located along Interstate 50 at the Castle Peak exit. Services will be performed for three consecutive snow seasons. Season will begin November 1st and conclude on May 30th. Contractor is responsible for plowing and removal snow from the following areas: A. Parking Entrance and Lot: Contractor shall remove all snow from the entrance off of Johnson Pass Road parking lots located south of Johnson Pass Road. Snow removal must provide sufficient space to safely enter, park, turn around, and leave the SNO-PARK site. B. Restroom Access: Contractor shall remove all snow from the entryways to the vault toilet. C. Sign Obstructions: Contractor shall remove all snow in front of the SNO-PARK signs. Snow shall not be allowed to obstruct the signs in any way. 2. The SNO-PARK site must be cleared of snow and fully accessible to the public daily by 7:00 AM weekdays and by 6:00 AM on weekends and holidays, except when Interstate-50 is not accessible to the public. A. Snow removal will begin when the depth of the snow reaches four (4) inches in any given area. Snow will be cleared a minimum of one time in a 24-hour storm cycle. B. In the event that Interstate-50 is not accessible, Contractor shall begin snow removal within two hours of the highway being opened. 3. Estimated number of hours necessary to perform snow removal services during the season are as follows: Snow Plowing: 195 hours Snow Blowing: 95 hours 4. Contractor shall provide equipment capable of cutting a vertical face for the depth of the snow, while removing a minimum of 500-tons of snow per hour. Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) Off-Highway Motor Vehicle Recreation Division (OHMVR Division) reserves the right to inspect all equipment to determine its ability to meet the minimum snow removal requirements. 5. Equipment will include a minimum of one (1) snowplow and one (1) snow blower with a 360-degree discharge chute.
