The scope of work generally consists of but is not limited to furnish and install ±1350 L.F. of new 8” PVC AWWA C-900 DR 18 water main and appurtenances, Tie-in connection to existing 8” water main at Santa Fe Street south of Echo Hills Golf Course (Phase II connection), Tie-in connection to existing 8” water main at Mahaffey Street & Santa Fe Street intersection (Lake Hemet Municipal Water District will perform Tie-In from new valve to existing 8” CML&W, contractor to coordinate with LHMWD trench excavation, trench backfill, and F.S. restoration), Tie-in connection to existing 8” water main at Thornton Street & Santa Fe Street intersection, trench excavation and trench repairs all as shown on the attached approved plans and specifications. Work shall include all restrained joints, thrust blocks, valves, blowoffs, air valves, shoring and bracing per California Labor Codes, excavation, backfill, bedding, pavement removal, provisional pavement replacement and final pavement restoration including but not limited to AC pavement and berms removal, subgrade compaction and grading, grinding and overlaying AC pavement (0.1’ min.), material removal, hauling and disposal, tack coat, Hot Mixed Asphalt, placing, compaction, berms, raised pavement markers, striping, valve cans and manhole lids leveling, cleaning all work City of Hemet encroachment permit, trench and pipeline dewatering, pipeline pressure testing, pipeline disinfection, traffic control, SWPPP, and other related appurtenant work. All work shall be in accordance with these specifications and contract drawings. Quantities are approximate. Bidders are responsible for verifying actual quantities from the detailed design drawings to accurately calculate quantity take-offs.
