The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to complete the exterior improvements for Buildings A, B, C, D, E, F, and G at the Centennial Education Center I. Exterior Painting 1. Paint all exterior surfaces of buildings and structures, including wood and wrought iron fencing. Scope includes both new and existing unpainted conduits, pull boxes, fascias, exterior doors and frames, flashings, gutters, downspouts, and other associated components. Previously painted railings shall be repainted only if repainting is warranted. 2. Prepare all surfaces for painting: o Patch and sand exterior walls, doors, trim, metal canopies, covered walkways, window fences, railings, and gates as needed. o Clean and prime all walls and trim using Dunn-Edwards primers as specified in Section 09 90 00 – Painting. Apply an additional coat of primer if stains or discoloration are visible. 3. Submit paint samples for District approval prior to commencing painting activities. 4. Apply high-quality primer followed by a minimum of two (2) coats of high-performance exterior paint to all designated surfaces, achieving the specified finish.
