A) BID ITEM 1: Coffman Pool Replastering: 1. Permit from County Environmental Health Department. (Including any fees for plan, courier and office administration fees.) 2. Performance and completion bonds. 3. Drain pool to approved cleanout and drill relief holes. 4. Strip existing plaster back to original concrete substrate and haul away debris. 5. Ensure existing main drain covers are VGB compliant. If not compliant, remove existing main drain covers and replace with VGB compliant drain covers at time of plaster per code. 6. Remove and replace floor return caps. 7. Repair damaged / missing tiles along pool perimeter as needed. Locations to be verified on site. 8. Reseal mastic using pool sealant Sikasil, Dynaflex, or similar around tile perimeter. 9. Remove and replace (6) 12” racing lanes. 10. Remove and replace (12) 12” targets 11. Bead blast cleaning of waterline tile and deck apron tile around the perimeter of the pool. 12. Rust repairs as required. 13. Replaster pool with (2) coats of premium 100% white quartz finish plaster. Wet Edge Altima White Interior Finish Upgrade including 5-year warranty from the manufacturer. 14. Chemical and equipment start up at completion. 15. Brushing and chemical maintenance as required prior to final inspection. Site Safety A. The Contractor is responsible obtaining road permits if needed and for maintaining traffic safety during the project. B. If a utility is damaged, immediately notify a city representative and the utility owner to discuss corrective action. Repairing damaged utilities and park infrastructure caused by the Contractor shall be the responsibility of the Contractor. C. Staging areas will be determined prior to the start of the project and in coordination with a City Representative. D. Any equipment and materials stored on site overnight and on the weekends must be secured at a predetermined location within construction fencing on site. E. Contractor is responsible for construction fencing, traffic cones, barricades and safety tapes while work is in progress. Any and all graffiti on said construction fencing to be removed within 24 hours of discovery, at Contractors expense. F. The Contractor shall be responsible for promptly removing debris and maintaining the site in a neat and orderly condition at all times. G. Materials left on site must be secured for public safety.
