Event Concept & Strategy Develop a cohesive event strategy and implementation plan for the one-year pilot program. Propose an event calendar based on event type (e.g., movie nights, live music, cultural performances, pop-up activations) aligned with the City’s goals. Identify potential event locations within or adjacent to the Rainbow District. Coordinate with local businesses and sponsors to encourage active participation, partnership, and hosting opportunities. Budget Development & Management Propose a budget outlining how the firm will utilize the full allocation (up to $100,000) List any proposed sponsors or sponsorship plans to supplement the City funding. Manage expenses related to production, marketing, vendor payments, obtaining applicable permits, rentals, and staffing. (The proposed budget should anticipate that City of West Hollywood issued permit fees will be waived however obtaining the permits will still be required by the selected vendor.) Event Production & Execution Manage all production logistics including site setup and breakdown, rentals, sound, lighting, signage, décor, and staffing. Recruit, coordinate, and manage vendors, performers, and subcontractors. Ensure ADA accessibility and compliance with all applicable City, State, and County policies and permitting requirements.
