Specifications include, but are not limited to: SDCCD is seeking proposals for the procurement and ongoing maintenance of an integrated Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system with vital ancillary products, as well as implementation services, to replace the Districts current Student (including Financial Aid), Finance, and Human Resources (including Payroll) enterprise administrative systems. The District is also seeking complete hardware configurations and system specifications. SDCCD would like a robust ERP system with web self-service applications and a Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) component (student outreach and student success) accessible through a Portal solution that will provide a single common point of entry to all applications. SDCCD is particularly interested in a system which provides abstraction and independence between infrastructure, computing platform, operating system, and data layers allowing for greater adaptability and flexibility. Additionally, the ERP solution should provide a modular, standards-based architecture built around open web services permitting the easy and low-maintenance connection of third-party and internally developed solutions. The system should also provide a unified security and identity management infrastructure which functions across persons, group, departments, organizations, and communities allowing for a more seamless user experience.
