Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Newport Beach is seeking statements of qualification from qualified proposers interested in providing the City with as-needed EMS educator services. The objective of this Request for Qualifications solicitation is to identify the most qualified, responsive and responsible proposer to provide these services over the course of a proposed two (2) year on-call contract period. Contractor shall: 1.1 Develop and present EMS-related education programs and materials compliant with the City of Newport Beach Fire Departments continuing education program and Orange County EMS Agency policies and procedures. 1.1.1 Education programs and materials may be developed by the City and Contractor will be relied upon to present said programs and materials 1.1.2 Contractor may be called upon by the City to develop education programs and materials. In these instances the City must approve any programs and materials before they are to be presented 1.2 Participate in the provision of basic EMT and paramedic training programs
