Contractor shall provide, parts, accessories and equipment required to outfit, restore, and repair but not limited to, emergency vehicles, maintenance and park vehicles, etc. on “as needed” basis for the entire contract term for various facilities. The County reserves the right to purchase any items needed in emergency situations from alternate contractors when not available in a timely fashion from awarded Contractor. a) Provide a sales representative and an inside customer service representative, who are knowledgeable of the Contract items, efficiently provide service to County. Contractor customer service representatives must be available Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM to assist County with catalog inquiries, placement of orders, follow-up, and any other areas requiring assistance within the realm of their responsibility. b) Provide new equipment, parts and accessories of the latest model and shall not have been used in demonstration or other service. c) All equipment, parts and accessories shall comply with requirements of applicable California Vehicle Codes and Federal Safety Regulations currently in force. d) Maintain and/or have access to a full-service parts facility to offer availability and fill rate of approximately 95% per order. e) Be capable of shipping parts within 24 hours of initial order.
