The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (LACMTA or METRO) is seeking a qualified Contractor to perform professional services relating to the planning, preparation, and administration of the emergency preparedness program. This service will be under the direction of the Metro Emergency and Homeland Security Preparedness Manager and will involve all aspects of the emergency preparedness cycles, including, but not limited to, creation, updating, and modification of emergency plans integrating transportation principles and concerns; and analysis of emergency protocols with particular emphasis on the mass transportation industry. The Contractor will be involved in assisting the Project Manager with planning, implementation, and analysis of testing, training , and exercises agency wide as well as emergency operations. Contractor shall be available and agree to be, if necessary, called in for response to emergencies for the purpose of assisting the LACMTA in executing its emergency operations, plans, and protocols
