Specifications include, but are not limited to: The County of San Diego invites interested organizations to submit responses to and attend a virtual (online) Request for Information (RFI) to provide input on the provision of Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) and Recovery and Bridge Center (RBC) (sobering services) in the East Region co-located at 367 N. Magnolia, El Cajon, CA 92020.; The CSU program includes the following components: • Crisis stabilization services that assist with reducing the severity of a person’s level of distress and/or need for a higher level of care associated with a serious mental illness or co-occurring condition, while promoting care in a recovery-oriented treatment setting. CSU services shall last less than 24 hours (23.59 hours). Services comply with all sections pertaining to Crisis Stabilization (1810.210) within Chapter 11 of the California Code of Regulations, Title 9, Division 1 entitled, “Medi-Cal Specialty Mental Health Services.”; The RBC program includes the following components: • Provides safe, alcohol and other drug-free sobering services to adults identified as intoxicated by law enforcement and/or adults with symptoms of intoxication referred by health, safety and law enforcement agencies; to provide written information on substance use resources; to offer substance use counseling services; to engage clients who could benefit from substance use treatment; and to refer these individuals to other ancillary services (including transitional housing and transportation) when appropriate.
