1. E-Rate Advisory Services a. Analysis and guidance regarding services and compliance b. Assist, plan, advise District staff on strategies, bid solicitations and execution of contracts 2. E-Rate Application Support a. Analyze applications b. Identify areas of improvement c. Maximize discounts and reimbursements d. Periodically assist with the preparation and submittal of various forms (e.g. FCC Form 472, FCC Form 500, service substitutions) 3. Audit, Appeals Readiness & Preparation a. Advice during selective reviews, site reviews, random USAC inquiries, or Audits b. Assist in submitting USAC and FCC appeals and responses with issues such as funding denials 4. Miscellaneous a. Navigate any Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) or other formal proceeding released by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) b. Help LAUSD staff to understand current and proposed changes to E-Rate rules and regulations and potential impact c. Conduct District-initiated billed-rate audits d. Assist with applications for other Federal and State funding opportunities related to Educational Technology initiatives (e.g., Emergency Connectivity Fund) e. Provide guidance and briefings on Federal and State legislation related to Educational Technology 5. Provide other necessary assistance as needed
