The contractor shall provide the following service: Facilitate 18 workshops (6 per day: June 16th, June 17th, and June 18th). Eight unique presenters will be provided to attend and deliver the 18 sessions during the 3-day period. 1. Day 1 - June 16, 2025 Conduct six (6) 75-minute workshops for New (TK-12) Dual Language Education teachers Topic 1: Inspiring Positive Multilingual Identity Topic 2: Family Partnership & Connection Topic 3: History, Myths, Research LAUSD DLE team will: 1. Provide contractor with the MMED slide template Contractor will: 1. Have up to 8 unique presenters attend and deliver 18 sessions during the 3-day period. 2. Will work with LA Unified to make adjustments on the session topics as necessary. 2. Day 2 - June 17, 2025 Conduct six (6) 75-minute workshops for All (UTK-6) Dual Language Education teachers Topic 1: Cross Language Connections Topic 2: Language Functions and ELD in a DLE Context Topic 3: The Power of Oral Language LAUSD DLE will: 1. Provide contractor with the MMED slide template Contractor will: 1. Have up to 8 unique presenters attend and deliver 18 sessions during the 3-day period. 2. Will work with LA Unified to make adjustments on the session topics as necessary. 3. Day 3 - June 18, 2025 Conduct six (6) 75-minute workshops for All (UTK-6) Dual Language Education teachers Topic 1: Bilingual Writing Instruction (2- part series) Topic 2: Cross-Language Connections Topic 3: The Power of Oral Language LAUSD DLE will: 1. Provide contractor with the MMED slide template Contractor will: 1. Have up to 8 unique presenters attend and deliver 18 sessions during the 3-day period. 2. Will work with LA Unified to make adjustments on the session topics as necessary.
