The scope of work includes drug and alcohol laboratory testing services which shall consist of the following components: 1. Vendor must perform testing as soon as the specimen arrives at the Vendor's laboratory and must notify the requesting department (FCS or SUDT) of all test results, negative and confirmed positives, within seventy-two (72) hours of receipt of the specimen at the laboratory. Test results must be sent securely and directly to the requesting department. FCS and SUDT must have access to a secure web-based drug testing application three hundred sixty-five (365) days per year, twenty-four (24) hours per day. 2. Vendor must provide automatic quantitative and qualitative confirmation of all positive drug and alcohol screens. Confirmation will be GC/MS (gas chromatography/mass spectrometry), LC/MS (liquid chromatography/mass spectrometry), or GC/FID (gas chromatography/Flame Ionization Detector). Provide the range of cut-off levels including the lowest possible level for laboratory screens and confirmation testing. 3. Vendor must be able to bill MediCal or 3 rd parties for qualifying clients. 4. Vendor must provide supplies for urine, oral saliva, and hair exposure tests. 5. Vendor shall provide expert witness services by affidavit, telephonically, or incourt regarding forensic toxicology and/or drug testing when requested by the County. B. Urine and Oral Saliva Tests: 1. All samples must undergo a strict protocol for specimen validity, tampering and adulteration including creatinine testing. 2. Laboratory testing needs for urine and oral screens are a custom selection panel from the following drugs and occasionally confirmation for on demand selected drugs
