The Contractor shall perform a one-time, on-site cleaning service for two (2) panels of sheer drapery located in the cafeteria windows of Building #418. The work shall include, but is not limited to, the following tasks: Drapery Cleaning Services Conduct a visual inspection of the drapery panels and track hardware to identify any pre-existing damage or missing components. Set up protective coverings for surrounding surfaces and flooring to prevent contamination or damage during cleaning. Perform a two-step dry cleaning process on both sides of each sheer panel using industry-approved, fabric-safe cleaning agents. Utilize an industrial extractor to remove surface dust and embedded particulates prior to chemical application. Ensure cleaning methods preserve the integrity of the fabric, including any flame-retardant treatments or pleating. Clean and lubricate the drapery track hardware to ensure smooth operation. Inspect for and replace any missing or damaged hooks, fasteners, or gliders as applicable. Contractor shall supply all necessary lifts in order to complete work. Employ a scissor lift or equivalent access equipment to safely reach and service elevated drapery installations. Ensure all equipment is operated by trained personnel in compliance with OSHA and building safety standards. Conduct a final inspection with the FMD Contract Administrator or Designated Representative to verify service completion and quality. The FMD Contract Administrator or FMD Designated Representative reserves the right to increase or decrease preventive maintenance services, or to decrease the scheduled number of services, should equipment be added or old equipment become obsolete. Preventive Maintenance shall be paid by the State at the Contractor’s rates specified in Exhibit B, Attachment 1, Cost Sheet, Table 1,One-Time 2 Panels Sheer Drapery Cleaning Services. Repair Services Contractor shall provide repair services required to keep the equipment fully operational in accordance with manufacturer’s standards. Foreseeable Repairs shall be paid by the State at the Contractor’s Repair Service-Hourly Rates, specified in Exhibit B, Attachment 1, Cost Sheet, Table 2, Foreseeable Repair Services. Contractor shall respond to requests for repair service within one (1) business day of notification by the FMD Contract Administrator or FMD Designated Representative. Contractor shall make every attempt to complete repairs the same business day. When a part(s) must be ordered that will delay completion of repairs the same working day, Contractor shall inform the FMD Contract Administrator or FMD Designated Representative immediately.
