Contractor shall provide all necessary materials, supplies, tools, equipment, licenses, certifications, permits, insurance, and a properly equipped service vehicle to provide DSH with complete drapery and blind cleaning, repair and replacement, alterations, and related services on an as-needed basis. CONTRACTOR RESPONSIBILITIES: A. Contractor shall respond within a forty-eight (48) hour period upon request received by DSH. B. Contractor shall provide a pick-up and delivery service for all draperies and corresponding items. Contractor’s personnel and vehicles shall be licensed and insured in accordance with the Department of Motor Vehicles. C. Cleaning Services: i. Contractor shall take down, clean, press, block to length, fanfold as needed, and re-hang approximately 9,500 widths of drapery. ii. The fabric content of the draperies to be serviced is cordilan, modacrylic, flax, polyester or 100% inherently flame-resistant polyester. iii. All draperies shall be fire resistant. Contractor shall provide proof as such. iv. Contractor shall perform weekly inspections of all shower curtains (approximately 300 pieces throughout DSH) and take down, adjust, clean, sanitize and re-hang or replace as needed...
