Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. ROUTINE ON-CALL SERVICES: 1. To keep door systems operational contractor to provide maintenance and repair of door systems including but not limited to: lock rekey and master keying, access control system, electronic locks, electronic latches, commercial locksmith services, door locks, door hardware, door closers, door hinges, panic hardware, electric roof hatches, hinges, latches, door coordinators, fire doors and automatic doors. 2. Each job to be quoted and invoiced separately. 3. When replacing hardware, contractor shall match existing hardware to existing brand. If Contractor is unable to replace with exact brand/type, Contract Manager shall be notified and approve replacement hardware. 4. Contractor shall make every attempt to complete repair on the same working day, unless the repair requires that parts be ordered. No repair may take longer than five (5) working days to complete. When a delay in repair occurs due to parts that must be ordered, written notification shall be presented immediately to the CalVet Contract Manager. 5. Contractor shall check in at the Security Desk and again at the Plant Operations office prior to commencing work. Contractor shall wear company uniform, if issued, and provide photo identification prior to receiving a Home issued visitor badge. The visitor badge is to be visibly worn at all times while on the premises. B. REPAIR SERVICES: Contractor shall provide unlimited visits for any repair services requested or necessary to keep the equipment fully operational. Repair services that are not provided during regularly scheduled maintenance visits, or not covered by the Scope of Work, shall be compensated by the State for actual hours worked on-site at the Contractor’s Repair Hourly Rate as specified in Exhibit B-1, Rate Sheet. Any parts requiring replacement will be replaced in accordance with the Parts Section. Repair service will be provided upon written request from the Contract Manager. Contractor shall respond to requests for repair service within two (2) hours of initial notification. Every effort shall be made to perform repair services during normal business hours; State holiday and weekends excluded. The State may, at its discretion, allow access to the equipment during nonbusiness hours when necessary. Non-emergency repair services performed outside of normal business hours must be approved in advance in writing by the Contract Manager.
