The City of Turlock (hereinafter referred to as the “City”) is requesting proposals for qualified vendors to provide document destruction services for various city department locations. The contractor under this agreement shall provide the labor, equipment, supplies and transportation for secure off-site and on-site shredding of confidential documents and other media (i.e. compact disks, film, negative, blueprints, microfiche, tapes transparencies, ribbons, etc.) as required by the various departments in need of secure destruction of sensitive information. The City of Turlock requires a NAID (National Association for Information Destruction) certified service provider. This bid will be used by the city to arrange for the secure collection, transportation, and certified destruction of the bin(s) contents. All shredding bins and consoles shall be secured with a locking mechanism with key access. At least one (1) key must be provided to the city department upon placement of receptacles. All bins shall be 64-gallon/200-pound capacity, 95-gallon/300-pound capacity, or 175- gallon/600-pound capacity, with wheels. Consoles shall be 16-gallon/50-pound capacity or 32-gallon/100-pound capacity. Total number of bins/consoles and locations may be added or removed during the term of the agreement at the discretion of the city. Number of pickups may vary, depending on the departments needs and can be adjusted during term of the agreement.
