The objective of this project is to acquire a new, unified, enterprise Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution to replace all core DMR systems. The new system will be a uniform, secure, integrated solution with external-facing portals for external stakeholder document submission/retrieval. It will offer self-service portals to the regulated community (mine operators), DMR partners (SMARA Lead Agencies such as cities, counties, and State agencies and departments), and other stakeholders, improving public access to documents and data. It will alleviate significant manual data entry and cross-system work, thereby improving efficacy, efficiency, and data integrity. The new system will benefit both internal and external stakeholders with improved data completion and quality, will provide the ability to securely submit required documentation, reporting, and fee collection, and will enable external stakeholders to oversee, manage and monitor their SMARA compliance across the state.
