Specifications include, but are not limited to: The project objective is to provide the inside occupant a way to lock/secure the Von Duprin exit devices (panic bars) by use of a rim cylinder thumbturn. This scope is to replace or modify 183 (one eighty three) existing keyed function panic exit devices with new District Standard thumbturns on the exit devices, as designated on the project’s Security/Door Hardware Schedule. The work includes removing existing door hardware for replacement or modification, door patching, furnishing and installing seven new doors (replace in kind), and installing removable central mullions. The Von Duprin 99L-F-2SI with XB11 and 99 CDSI XQ13 are District Standard thumbturn devices (refer to Physical Access Control & Security Management Design Standard , Appendix A. Door hardware will be owner-furnished, and the contractor will retrieve new hardware at Skyline College. The door locations are indicated on the floor plans provided by the District. Installation will be at the three campuses, Canada College in Redwood City, College of San Mateo (and the adjacent District Office) in San Mateo, and Skyline College in San Bruno.
