Specifications include, but are not limited to: The District invites proposals from qualified security companies to provide security services in the areas of human resources/personnel and administrative services as outlined in the scope of services. The District reserves the right to award the proposal to multiple security firms. The selected firm will possess the knowledge, skills and abilities in the following areas: Provider to provide unarmed/armed security/protective services at District facilities and for District personnel in the following manner: 1. Unarmed/Armed gate guard as needed at the 450 Ryder Street facility between the hours of 8:00am and 6:00PM – (Mon-Fri) 2. Unarmed/Armed patrol service with response to call out between the hours of 6:00pm – 8:00am – (Mon – Fri) 3. Unarmed/Armed patrol service with response to call out 24 hours on weekends and holidays 4. Unarmed/Armed patrol services as needed for offsite events, and personnel meetings. 5. Response to Call Outs: Response to call outs require a 30-minute response time to the 450 Ryder St. Plant site and remote pump stations located within District service area. The security sweep shall be performed at the site to ensure District response personnel can safely perform their required actions (maintenance, calibration, inspection, etc.). Provider to remain on site at the area until District personnel have completed their work. 6. Duties of response to call outs will include but are not limited to, providing protective services, engaging with and persuading unauthorized personnel to leave District sites. Standing watch while District staff perform their duties at the site. 7. Patrol and Security Check Services: Duties of patrol include but are not limited to, frequent security checks of District facilities (list to be provided by the District), persuading unauthorized personnel to leave District sites, reporting any vandalism, burglary attempts. 8. Gate Guard Services: Duties of gate guard services include but are not limited to, controlling access into the facility, enforcement of District policies and public security, providing protective services, persuading unauthorized personnel to leave the facility, reporting any vandalism, burglary attempts. 9. Provide security training to plant staff as needed. Trainings will cover areas of district specific needs as well as general industry trends and changes. 10. Provide security assessments and assist with investigations as needed. Assessments may cover facilities, policies, procedures, and incidents as needed. This section is not meant to provide an exhaustive and complete scope of services. Additional items may be added to this scope of services. A final scope of services agreement will need to be arranged between the District and the Consultant.
