The City of Riverside (“City”) is seeking a qualified entity or individual (“Company”) to develop an Evacuation Plan, an Evacuation Assessment and an update of the Evacuation and Re-Entry Emergency Support Function Annex. In accordance with the California Office of Planning and Research, Evacuation Planning Technical Advisory Guide, the City of Riverside Fire, Office of Emergency Management is seeking an entity to conduct an evacuation assessment, develop an Evacuation Plan, update the Emergency Support Function Evacuation and Re-Entry Annex. The plans will incorporate new Fire Hazard Severity Zones, Genasys Evacuation Zone numbers, routes, and evacuation locations. This is established for compliance with new laws and guidance for updating and adopting a Local Hazard Mitigation Plan, as done on March 25, 2025. The City plans to select one firm for these services. Proposals are requested from Companies that have a demonstrated ability to perform the tasks identified in this Request for Proposal (“RFP”).
