Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Placentia publishes a full color Community Services brochure 4 times a year that is delivered to approximately 18,500 postal customers. The City is soliciting proposals to complete the necessary services in the graphic design, typesetting, layout, printing and mailing of the publication. Printing of Material (please indicate whether method shall be “Sheetfed,” or “Web-heatset,” or “Web-cold,” or “Other,” or “Combination” thereof). The City will provide the Contractor with the complete text formatted in Microsoft Excel and or Microsoft Word. The contractor is responsible for supplying all supplies and equipment which are required in connection with the services to be performed under the contract. All services provided are subject to the approval of the City’s Community Services Coordinator. The selected Company shall provide the services required in Attachment A, Scope of Services, attached hereto and incorporated herein ; Quantity: 18,600 full color finished pieces (no unders, no more than 3% overs) for all Summer, Fall and Winter/Spring issues Office Copies: 400 full color finished pieces (Fall, Winter, Spring) 500 full color finished pieces (Summer) Frequency: Four issues per calendar year. Twelve (12) issues over three (3)year Summer, Fall, Winter and Spring with an option to renew for two additional years (four issues) Pages: Fall, Winter, and Spring-24 pages Summer-32 pages Paper Stock: 60# #3 76 gloss book Covers & Text: 4/4 self-cover for all Summer, Fall, Winter and Spring issues. Proofs: Contractor shall typeset and provide City with one Low-res digital proof for all interior pages; 4/c Iris proof for cover pages; press check. Participate in the four (4) rounds of online proofing and revisions to finalize the product. At the City’s discretion, anyone at the City can be included in the proofing process. (Note: Contractor has two (2) weeks to produce Proof #1; one (1) week to produce Proof #2, and 4 days to produce Proof #3, and with a 4th review on an as needed basis, after staff comments have been submitted). Contractor is responsible for successful delivery of approved finalized files to printer’s FTP site
