The City of Paso Robles is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced firms to provide comprehensive design services for the redevelopment of the sports fields at Sherwood Park. The purpose of this project is to address community concerns related to field conditions, lighting, and capacity, and to create a safe, accessible, and high-quality environment for youth and adult sports programming. The individual(s) or firm(s) selected will work directly with several City Departments/Divisions: Community Services, Public Works, and Community Development. Also involved will be the Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee. The selected consultant shall provide professional design services that: • Evaluate and reconfigure the sports field layout to improve playability and capacity • Integrate appropriate lighting solutions to extend playable hours and improve safety • Replace existing turf and address subsurface issues, including gopher mitigation • Design modern, efficient irrigation systems suited to new turf conditions
