Specifications include, but are not limited to: consulting firms to design an all-inclusive playground at Jollyman Park. The all-inclusive playground design is based on AIPG funding guidelines and ADA federal guidelines and requirements. The required scope of services for the project will be to review the site and existing conditions and re-design the existing playground area into an all-inclusive playground. The project aims to incorporate the best in supportive play theories and practices to appeal to people of all ages and abilities. The design will support recreation and social interaction for people with autism, sensory challenges, cognitive, developmental, and physical disabilities – as well as those without special needs. The paths to the playground area will also be redesigned to be completely accessible and harmonious with the new playground.
