A. Developing conceptual design alternatives for the gateway, including culturally relevant forms, materials, lighting, signage, and landscape integration. B. Providing preliminary material selections to evaluate durability, aesthetics, and compatibility with the proposed Caltrans Sign Structure and surrounding context. C. Exploring opportunities to team with a qualified sign fabricator early in the design process to ensure feasibility, innovation, and cost efficiency in the gateway’s signage elements. D. Preparing and submitting cost estimates for each conceptual design alternative to support informed decision-making by City staff and stakeholders. E. Facilitating design presentations and refinement through engagement with City staff, key stakeholders, the local community, and ultimately the Mayor and City Council.
