The City of San José (“City”) is soliciting proposals (“Proposals”) from short-listed Design-Build Entities (“Proposers”) for the Additional Digester Facility Upgrade (ADFU) Project (“Project”). The Project’s scope is inclusive of the replacement or rehabilitation of the mesophilic digesters and addition of a Fat, Oil and Grease (FOG) facility at the San José-Santa Clara Regional Wastewater Facility (“RWF” or “Facility”). The awarded Proposer (“Design Builder”) will be selected through a two-step procurement process consistent with Chapter 27.14 of the San Jose Municipal Code, Section 1217(c)(2) of the Charter of the City of San Jose, California Public Contract Sections 22162 through 22168, as well as the requirements of all other applicable California law
