The County seeks by way of this RFP to obtain proposals for the Master Deconstruction Program (Program) and Benefits of Deconstruction Workshops (Workshop) from all qualified providers who have knowledge and expertise with providing deconstruction training services, or similar services, indicated. Agencies or individuals must be able to show that they are capable of performing the services requested. Such evidence includes, but is not limited to, the respondent's demonstrated competency and experience in delivering services of a similar scope and type and local availability of the respondent’s personnel and equipment resources. The budget for this project is $10,000 per year. Respondents should submit only one quote but may be a participant on more than one response. The Program is an approximately weeklong 40-hour course offered to members of the public, which focuses on deconstruction topics such as local salvage yards, tax benefits, tools, safety, removing fixtures, cabinets, flooring, framing, etc. and other solid waste reduction related topics. This Program provides a more detailed, in-depth, and hands-on learning experience than a two-hour Benefits of Deconstruction Workshop. The Workshop will have topics, including but not limited to, local salvage yards, tax benefits, costs of deconstruction versus demolition, examples of deconstruction, etc
