Western Municipal Water District (Western Water) is seeking to obtain proposals from qualified firms to help Western Water design, build, and implement a data solution project. The goal of this project is to centralize and enhance data management, improve operational efficiency, produce data for standard reports, and allow for easy data analysis to support informed decision-making. This initial effort will focus on consumption, delivery, and production data for Western Water’s potable, non-potable and recycled water systems so staff can produce accurate water loss reports. However, the designed solution should be flexible, scalable, sustainable and easy to manage so it can be expanded to accommodate additional data sets over time. Addition of data sets would occur in future project phases. The Data Solution Project should focus on leveraging our investment in Microsoft 365 and Microsoft enterprise tools including cloud services.
