The Contractor agrees to provide to the Department of Water Resources with a Feasibility Study for Potential Habitat Projects within the Yolo Bypass, located in the lower Sacramento River Basin. The Contractor must identify projects that can contribute towards the Non-Flow Measures under the Agreement to Support the Healthy Rivers and Landscapes Program, a proposed alternative pathway for the update to the Bay-Delta Water Quality Control Plan. The proposed habitat project(s) should be intended to expand salmonid spawning and rearing inchannel and on floodplains, as well as bypass floodplain and tidal wetland projects with multi-species benefits in support of the two water quality objectives in the Bay-Delta Water Quality Control Plan related to protection of native fishes. The work will occur within a period of no more than four (4) years from the date of the contract execution. The work to be funded in this Feasibility Study includes 3 tasks. Baseline Surveys, Studies, and Modeling, Alternatives Analysis, and Preliminary Design.
