A. ROUTINE SERVICES QUARTERLY SERVICES FOR BOTH BOILERS: 1. Mojave Desert Air Quality Management District (AQMD) emissions testing and monitoring. 2. Maintenance or repairs must be performed if emissions test(s) fails to pass. 3. Retesting/Maintenance must be performed until emissions test(s) pass. B. ANNUAL MAINTENANCE SERVICES FOR BOTH BOILERS 1. Perform Annual Source Test 2. Tune-up as needed according to manufacturer’s recommended specifications and tolerances. 3. Hydrostatically test boiler to design pressure prior to draining to ensure tube and pressure vessel integrity. 4. Advise if repairs are needed. 5. Drain boiler and remove front and rear waterside head plates. 6. Clean and punch tubes to remove all loose debris and scale. 7. Flush the water tubes with spray nozzle water hose. 8. Clean and flush the feeder(s) and equalizing lines. 9. Access and inspect/clean feed water piping to boiler. 10. Inspect and clean strainer baskets associated with boiler service. 11. Inspect for electrolysis wear as components are disassembled, report condition. 12. Install new factory original head plate gaskets, seal and close/re-assemble boiler. 13. Inspect and point out normal wear and tear refractory firebox cracks. 14. Inspect and clean existing atmospheric burner heads and orifices. 15. Inspect and clean underside of fireside boiler tubes. 16. Inspect and clean stack at draft regulator entrance and at stack termination. 17. Check for properly weighted damper; set if necessary. 18. Check draft gauge for accuracy, if existing. 19. Open, inspect, and clean drip traps and vent lines of gas components, including the main gas regulator. 20. Flush out and clean blow-down and condensate tanks if applicable.
