Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of this "Invitation for Bid" (IFB) is to seek a training provider on specific API, ASME & ANSI/ASME Standards. The training will be in-person to be conducted in California with an option for each module to be delivered online due to in-person training restrictions. The Contractor will provide the following for in-person training: (a) In-person training will be conducted in California. The exact venue will be agreed upon between the contractor and the DIR PSM. Possible locations are, but may not be limited to, Concord, Oakland, Los Angeles, Santa Ana and San Diego. (b) In-person training will be led by 2 instructors at the location in a classroom setting. (c) In-person training will have a maximum of thirty (30) attendees excluding the instructor(s). (d) In-person training cost will include all costs associated with the training including, but not limited to, instructor travel, applicable taxes, training materials, etc. (e) In the event that in-person training cannot be conducted for a module due to COVID or other restrictions from meeting in-person, contractor will provide the training online, see section 2 below. Online training will only be conducted with prior written approval of the DIR Division representative. (f) The entire training shall be composed of nine (9) modules. Each module will be scheduled separately but no later than three (3) months apart within the life of the contract. The first module will be conducted six (6) months after the execution of the contract. (g) Each Module will taught at a minimum of thirty two (32) hours. (h) If training will be conducted for a whole week, training will start at 1 pm on Monday and end at 12 noon Friday to allow for travel.
