Specifications include, but are not limited to: Newport Mesa Unified School District (NMUSD) (District) is seeking a new security system to consolidate and integrate access control, alarm monitoring, and security video surveillance systems for the District. The District has identified and documented the requirements for this new system. The primary goal for this Request for Information (RFI) is to identify system manufacturers that meet the District’s requirements and can be successfully deployed and maintained by the District’s maintenance staff. This RFI does not include evaluations of integrators but will evaluate how manufacturers provide support to customers such as the District that maintain their own systems and the level of support provided directly by the manufacturer versus through their integrators. Integrators and the total costs associated with purchasing and maintaining systems will be evaluated after completion of the RFI submission evaluation. This Request for Information (RFI) has been developed to solicit a range of data relative to various aspects to be considered. This RFI is aimed at helping NMUSD understand the range of vendors involved in this space.
