Specifications include, but are not limited to: Under this solicitation, successful proposer/s will train 50 youth in a structured technology skill enhancement program that may be provided in two cohorts. Each cohort will consist of approximately 25 participants and 14-16 weeks of training, including classroom-based, hands-on/field application, and certification (if applicable). Training/s will be held at facility(ies) identified by Pacific Gateway in the Long Beach area. The successful proposer/s, as part of program implementation and with prior approval from Pacific Gateway, will identify and collaborate with local businesses that are willing to participate and connect with the youth in developing video productions/commercials for their respective businesses. Specific areas of training focus should include, but are not limited to, basic networking, film/video production, graphic/website design and maintenance, Adobe Creative Suite, FileMaker Pro, Final Cut Studio, and other similar training programs.
