The City of Roseville’s (City) Environmental Utilities Department (EU) retained a design professional (Kennedy Jenks Consultants, Inc.) to complete the preliminary (30 percent level) design for the expansion of the of the existing Collections Building at Dry Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant. The existing Collections Building is a pre-engineered metal building that houses the Collections staff and includes office space, breakroom, bathrooms, and large utility vehicle parking area. The building was constructed around 2008 and expanded in 2013. This current expansion will include one new standalone pre-engineered metal building that will be located adjacent the existing Collections Building and tenant modifications to the existing Collections Building. The new standalone building will be used as the parking area for the large utility vehicles, and the existing parking area will be converted to a new conference room. A Design-Build contracting agreement is being used to construct DCWWTP Collections Building Expansion Project (hereinafter “Project”).
