The DWTP Campus Improvements Project will provide the necessary facilities to relocate the entire Water Distribution staff functions from 7400 West Lane to the DWTP in the area adjacent to and east of the current DWTP Administration Building. Figure 1 shows the current DWTP site and suggested area for consideration of the Water Distribution Division facilities contemplated for this Project. East of it is the project area for the Groundwater Recharge Basins Project, which is currently in design. MUD’s goal is to build new campus buildings and facilities that will complement the existing DWTP campus architecture and landscaping, including expanding the conservation gardens. MUD commits to environmental consciousness and building energy-efficient structures that reduce impacts on our resources. Figure 2 shows photos of the existing Administration and Operations Buildings and conservation garden. For reference, record drawings are also included as attachments to this RFQ.
