Specifications include, but are not limited to: Pickup and delivery of up to six cages/pallets, ESTIMATED AMOUNT OF SERVICES PER YEAR 200; Pickup and delivery of more than six cages/pallets, ESTIMATED AMOUNT OF SERVICES PER YEAR 60; Pickup and delivery on Saturday, ESTIMATED AMOUNT OF SERVICES PER YEAR 4; 1. Monday through Friday weekday services: Pick up USPS mail cages and/or mail pallets at the SCO Disbursements Bureau loading dock located at 3301 C Street, Sacramento, CA 95816, and deliver the mail cages and/or mail pallets to the Industrial West Sacramento Post Office located at 3775 Industrial Blvd., West Sacramento, CA 95799, by no later than 7:00 p.m. Pacific Time (PT). Drive time from 3301 C Street, Sacramento to 3775 Industrial Blvd., West Sacramento is approximately 16 minutes in moderate traffic, at a distance of approximately 8.5 miles. Daily mail pickup services shall occur Monday through Friday between 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. PT, unless SCO requests a late pickup, which would be no later than 6:30 p.m. PT.; 2. Saturday services: If SCO requests Saturday pickup and delivery services, the Contractor shall pick up and deliver the mail cages and/or mail pallets to the Industrial West Sacramento Post Office located at 3775 Industrial Blvd., West Sacramento, CA 95799, by no later than 10 a.m. PT, unless instructed otherwise by SCO.; 3. Provide alternate pickup and delivery services when the regular scheduled service falls on a state holiday.; a. When a state holiday falls on a weekday (Monday through Friday), the Contractor shall not be scheduled to pick up or deliver on that state holiday. However, SCO may request an alternate pickup and delivery date and time prior to or after a state holiday, if needed, as shown below: 1) Tuesday through Thursday Holidays: The Contractor may be required to perform an early pickup (by 3:00 p.m. PT) and delivery on the day prior to the holiday (e.g., if Christmas Day falls on a Friday, an early mail pickup and delivery on Christmas Eve may be needed).; 2) Monday Holidays: The Contractor shall pick up and deliver mail on the preceding Saturday (two days prior) to the Monday holiday.; 3) Friday Holidays: The Contractor shall pickup and deliver the mail on the following Saturday (next day) after the Friday holiday.; 4. Provide trucks with lift gates. Daily mail pickup and delivery loads can range from three to 14 pallets and from two to four mail cages. Please refer to Section C., SCO Responsibilities, 5. and 6. for pallet and cage dimensions and weights.; 5. Deliver SCO mail pallets and/or cages directly to the USPS facility in West Sacramento.
