Specifications include, but are not limited to: The contractor is to provide, on 72-hour notice, fixed-wing aircraft, and/or drones with qualified pilots with current pest control applicators certification, and trained ground crews, as more fully set out below. There will be no guaranteed minimum flight hours under the terms of this agreement. There are three anticipated peak activity periods during each year: winter, spring, and fall. The first period usually occurs between the later part of January and the end of February and should take five to seven days to complete. The second period normally occurs in April but may start as early as March 6 and may finish as late as May 15. This period usually takes 14 to 21 days to complete. The third period normally begins about the first week in October and takes from 5 to 21 days to complete. Timing of all operations is dependent on the biology of the insect and weather trends. The contractor shall be paid only for actual services performed and purchased insecticide used for each campaign.
