• Clean-up blood and/or other human waste on City streets and City owned properties. • Clean-up automotive and biological fluids resulting from traffic collisions including, but not limited to anti-freeze, oil, gasoline, and blood. • Clean and disinfect police vehicles and facilities that have been contaminated with blood and/or other human waste, such as urine, vomit, and feces. • Vent and decontaminate tear gas residue from City owned property. • Clean up surfaces that have been chemically treated with luminol, amido black, cyanoacrylate, ninhydrin and other reagents used to develop or enhance biological material. • Clean-up floor or sewage spills on public property. • Decontaminate and sanitize evidence rooms and drying units at police facilities. • Transport and disposal of medical waste. • Clean up, decontaminate, and disinfect crime scenes and other affected areas in order to prevent spread of communicable and emerging infectious and zoonotic diseases. • Be available to the SBPD 24 hours per day, 7 days per week including all holidays. • Begin the necessary work and render services as described and as required by SBPD personnel conducting the crime scene investigation. • Perform the requested services with diligence and according to City, state, and federal laws without deviation from such laws.
