The City of Inglewood (City) is soliciting proposals from a qualified artist or artist firm to assist the Library Services Department (Library) in the design, fabrication, and installation of a permanent public artwork at the Crenshaw-Imperial Branch Library located at 11141 Crenshaw Blvd., Inglewood, CA 90303. • Project Goal: To create a visually engaging, site-specific installation that enhances the library building, acts as a focal point for the community, and celebrates Inglewood’s diverse identity and cultural spirit; • Specific Location: The artwork will be installed on two adjoining/connecting exterior brick walls of the library facility (photo attached below of exact building location); • Theme: Artwork must reflect Inglewood’s rich cultural heritage while aligning with the library’s mission to inform, enrich, and empower the community by supporting lifelong learning and serving as a welcoming community hub for all residents
