Scope of Work 1. Contractor agrees to provide to the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) Crane repair and maintenance services as described herein: Contractor shall provide all labor, tools materials, parts, vehicles, permits, licenses, equipment, travel, and incidentals necessary to provide electrical, mechanical, and controller circuits on 10 overhead shop cranes and auxiliary components, three (3) stationary lifts, and 13 mobile lifts as described herein. Contractor shall also perform quarterly and annual inspections on each crane and certify each crane is safe to operate. 2. Subcontracting is not permitted under this Agreement. All references to subcontracting or Subcontractors as found herein are not applicable to this Agreement. 3. The services shall be performed at the following locations: A. 200 Burma Road, Oakland, CA 94607 B. 100 Industrial Way, Benecia, CA 94510 C. 5500 West Jackson Street, State Route 92, Hayward, CA 94544 4. Any reference to Caltrans Contract Manager shall also include their designee. 5. This Agreement will commence on September 1, 2025 (estimate), or upon approval by Caltrans, whichever is later, and no work shall begin before that time. This Agreement is of no effect unless approved by Caltrans. Contractor shall not receive payment for work performed prior to approval of the Agreement and before receipt of notice to proceed by Caltrans Contract Manager. This Agreement will expire on August 31, 2028 (estimate). The routine services shall be provided during normal business hours Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., excluding State holidays. The parties may amend this Agreement as permitted by law.
