A. Provide floor mats in good to excellent condition, free of material defect, and provide a stable, firm slip resistant surface, lie flat when in use and do not create a tripping hazard. B. Provide mats with the highest safety standards and meet all American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and National Floor Safety Institute (NFSI) safety regulations ANSI/NFSI B101.5. The change of level of ¼” and ½” has to be beveled, pile height and static coefficient of friction requirements of all government condition and industry standards of maximum pile height of ½”. C. Provide an acceptable and significant transition from the floor to reduce tripping or poor wheelchair access. D. Provide mats that must be of nylon pile on nitrate rubber and of sufficient quality to eliminate rippling, humping or wrapping during use. E. Allow County to add or subtract any quantity and/or location at any time throughout the contract period.
