The City is soliciting proposals from qualified consultants to furnish and install a comprehensive, enterprise grade audio/video (A/V) system for the future Council Chambers. The selected vendor will provide all required components, manage the project from inception through completion, and deliver a fully functional installation that meets or exceeds the performance standards specified in the resulting contract. A detailed, as-built drawing must be submitted to the City upon project completion. The City of Redlands has acquired a tenant-occupied, six-story commercial office building (300 E. State Street, Redlands, CA 92373)—with both underground and street-level parking—to be renovated into the new City Hall facility. The Council Chambers is where elected officials, City staff, and the public meet to conduct City business, and it is where key decisions are made that affect the community. The facility is the broadcasting location for live meetings of the Redlands City Council and Planning Commission, which are televised to the City’s government access cable TV Channel 3 (Spectrum) and Channel 35 (Frontier), and streamed live to the City’s website and the official City YouTube channel.
